Hotel Adeline, a boutique, lifestyle hotel in Scottsdale that opened in January 2018, hired MCA Group to stay relevant and maintain the buzz about the hotel after the grand opening. To accomplish this, MCA implemented a creative PR plan that included media relations, influencer partnerships, a national media familiarity trip and social media management.
In November 2018, MCA planned and executed a media FAM trip with 10 local and national media and influencers in attendance. MCA partnered with Experience Scottsdale and Vikara Events to plan the ultimate Scottsdale experience. The weekend featured meals at Hotel Adeline’s on-site restaurant, cocktail tastings with lead bartender at Hotel Adeline’s speakeasy, Straight Up, poolside morning yoga and a golf cart tour showcasing all of Scottsdale’s most “Instagrammable” art.
In addition, MCA managed the Facebook and Instagram accounts for the hotel. To facilitate, MCA created monthly content calendars for each platform and used scheduling tools to manage the posting schedule. MCA grew Hotel Adeline’s social media to over 6,000 followers and 60,000 average monthly impressions.
Through extensive PR efforts, MCA was able to secure more than 383 million media impressions in less than one year, including coverage in USA Today, Reader’s Digest, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Cosmopolitan, Yahoo! News, The New York Times and much more.
